The Congregation at Hidden Springs

Hidden Springs of McKinney is a senior living community across the street from St. Andrew’s. Under the leadership of our Priest Associate, Paulette Magnuson, the Congregation at Hidden Springs meets weekly for worship on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am. After starting in the summer of 2020, the Congregation at Hidden Springs has grown rapidly and now averages more that 50 people each week. They worship in the Episcopal tradition, according to The Book of Common Prayer, and celebrate Holy Eucharist on the first Sunday of each month.

Hidden Springs of McKinney is a primer rental senior living community consisting of 123 Independent Living apartments, in addition to Assisted Living and Memory Care. Active and generous residents from a range of diverse backgrounds and experiences make Hidden Springs a great place to live and enrich our offerings at St. Andrew’s.

Beyond their weekly common life and generous support of our outreach efforts, members of the Congregation at Hidden Springs:

  • Speak and participate in our monthly Senior Fellowship lunches.

  • Host St. Andrew’s children annually for a “Trunk-o-Treat” in the Hidden Springs courtyard.

  • Welcome our choir and children for Christmas caroling in December.

  • Attend special seasonal liturgical services.

And the Congregation at Hidden Springs is the Church to one another. They welcome newcomers, celebrate birthdays, sing hymns, receive the grace of holy communion, and commend those who had died to God’s eternal love. The Congregation at Hidden Springs lives into the great gift of being Christ’s Church while living alongside one another.

The Congregation at Hidden Springs also participates with great enthusiasm in St. Andrew’s Hands&Feet outreach ministry. Whether its thousands and thousands of diapers, or hundreds of jars of peanut butter, or a van full of Christmas presents, their support of our community partners has helped feed, clothe and care for our brothers and sisters in this community. They also volunteer regularly with us at the Samaritan Inn and preparing items for the McKinney Little Free Pantry.
