Week of April 1

    Week of April 1, 2018

    Brothers and Sisters,

Happy Easter friends! The Lord is risen indeed. We had a wonderful Holy Week and Easter celebration and I'm so grateful for all of you who helped out to make our week possible. There's lots of great stuff coming up in the rest of the spring. Here are this week's highlights.

    Guys Night Out — April 5, 6:45 p.m.
We have the private room at El Fenix (on 75, south of Eldorado). In addition to dinner and fellowship time, we'll be talking about the future of men's ministry at St. Andrew's.

    Bishop's Visit — April 8
Bishop Michael Smith (the Bishop of North Dakota) will be with us this Sunday for baptisms and confirmations, as well as celebrating and preaching Holy Communion. Please come and celebrate with our youth, adults, and children who will be partaking of these holy sacraments.

    Meet St. Andrew's — April 15, 12:30 p.m.
For newcomers as well as those interested in joining St. Andrew's as members, "Meet St. Andrew's" includes a tour of the campus, lunch with the clergy and key staff members, a brief presentation on our history, values, and vision, and the chance to ask any questions you have about the parish. Children are welcome; for younger children, we'll have childcare available after lunch. Please let us know you're coming by emailing our office manager, Brandi McSwain.

St. Andrew's Annual Golf Outing - May 20
This year's golf tournament is again at The Hills course at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club. Start is 1:30 p.m.; dinner follows golf. All proceeds benefit our mission partnerships in Belize. Golf registration (includes dinner) is $95. Diners only, $20 (adults), $13 (under 12). Sign up online!

Adult Discipleship Starts Next Week — Esther Study
Our regular Wednesday evening discipleship begins next week, April 11. Deacon Pam will be leading a Bible study on the fascinating book of Esther, a readable Old Testament story that still speaks powerfully to us today. Will meet from 7-8 p.m. on Wednesday nights through May 23.

Don't forget to check out our website where can find past sermons (including the Easter sermon), as well as more information on other upcoming events.

May the love of our risen Lord empower and enliven your life the rest of this week.

    In Christ, Andrew+
