Save the Date — Belize Spaghetti Dinner and Auction
Our Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Auction will be on Friday, August 24, at 6-8:30 p.m.
To make this fundraiser a success, we are in need of donated items for the auction Please bring all donated items to church by August 12 with your name and value of the item listed so a bid sheet can be prepared. We welcome craft items such as jewelry, quilts, scarves etc. and items in new condition.

Save the Date — Blessing of the Backpacks
Plan to join us August 12 as all kids and youth are encouraged to bring their backpacks to church. If you know a teacher, invite him/her also! We'll gather the backpacks at the altar during all services and the clergy will bless them, the students, and the teachers

We are so excited to welcome Roy Thomas, our new Associate Pastor, to our ministry staff. Roy has been a priest for 16 years in the Mar Thoma Church, a very ancient branch of Christ's Church with roots in India. He has recently transitioned into the Episcopal Church, and will begin the next stage of his ministry here at St. Andrew's.

Roy was born in Lubbock and raised in the Metroplex, where he met his wife Rachel (also from the Metroplex) who is a pediatrician in Dallas. They have three children, Isaiah, Faith, and Jeremiah. In addition to his theological studies, Roy has a Masters in Counseling. He is an avid Cowboys fan and lives in Wylie. And of course there's lots more you'll be getting to know about him and his wonderful family in the coming months.
